After months of concept, design and finally FCC approval, the AnchorMAN Wireless Intercom System is now available. The patent pending AnchorMAN has ergonomically styled belt packs that are lightweight and user friendly. Once you experience the ease of use and see the competitive pricing, you'll want an AnchorMAN for yourself. The AnchorMAN is here.
Features
- There is no base station but the functionality of a base station is not abandoned. AnchorMAN belt packs talk directly to one another.
- The system is expandable - just purchase additional belt packs.
- The signal beats the competition. Unlike 2.4 MHz products, AnchorMAN operates with a longer wave signal that can pass through most walls in duplex mode up to 250 feet.
- In duplex mode each belt pack can listen and speak to four belt packs at one time.
- Just when a 2.4 MHz looses signal, the AnchorMAN automatically switches to simplex mode to boost the range to about 2500 feet.
- Simplex Mode refers to the range at which you can listen to another speaker without your transmitter on. If you are having difficulty hearing someone, let go of the PTT button and listen up.
- Belt packs are comfortable to wear and are made of rugged materials. Buttons are clearly labeled and operation is logical and easy.
- Operates on four rechargeable NiMH batteries - up to 7 hours in receive mode and 3 hours in continuous transmit.
- No complex set up or tuning is needed. Compatible frequency planning and selection are performed in the Anchor factory.
- Hands free operation is offered by using the voice activation feature. Just adjust the microphone sensitivity on the side of the belt pack for your environment. Now just speak into the dynamic microphone to activate transmission.
- State of the art electronics and software developed for AnchorMAN allows for breakthrough pricing.
- Churches, small theaters, athletic departments and other budget conscious customers can enjoy high performance wireless intercom features for the price of the most antiquated wired systems.

What Is AnchorMAN? |
The AnchorMAN is a new wireless intercom system that provides unprecedented
ease of use and flexibility. The MAN in AnchorMAN stands for Mobile Audio Network.
Designed for portability, it requires no base station. However, the functionality of a
base station is not abandoned. Each belt pack is capable of listening to 4 belt packs
at one time. Compatible frequency groups are pre-selected to allow operation in up
to four separate groups with no interference. |
|
How Does It Work? |
There are two ranges specified for the BP-900 - Simplex & Duplex. Simplex Range
refers to the distance at which you can listen to another speaker without your transmitter
on. We have achieved an excellent Simplex Range of up to 2500'. Duplex
Range is the distance at which you can listen to another speaker while you are also
transmitting. The specified Duplex Range is 250'. When belt packs venture beyond
their Duplex Range, operation automatically converts to Simplex. |
 |
Is It Dependable? |
One of the goals for the AnchorMAN was to design a system that is not only efficient
to build, but easy to build consistently. Quality control is maintained by proprietary,
automated testing and calibration algorithms that ensure each belt pack is tested
against a tightly controlled standard. |
 |
How Easy Is AnchorMAN To Use? |
AnchorMAN is easy to use and does not require a sixty page manual to operate.
Set your group selections, the microphone sensitivity and the headset volume and
you are ready to begin using AnchorMAN. You'll find AnchorMAN costs much less
than traditional wireless intercom systems. Self registration for use of AnchorMAN
is easy and can be found at www.fcc.gov. |
