Opera Modular Series Overview

The fourth generation of this worldwide, highly successful active speaker from dBTechnologies, supplied with new, innovative features like the module slot for optional modules, three switchable sound characteristics and infrared remote control.

Intelligent Speaker.

All models in the OPERA series are fitted with high-grade Bi-Amp Class H output stages and have intelligent electronics, such as the active phase-optimized diplexer or the dynamic soft clip limiter, which protects the system from overload and allows reliable operation right up to the power limit. Bi-Amp means that there is an individual output stage channel provided for each loudspeaker, which with the active separation allows excellent performance and high sound pressure.

More Bass. More Punch. More Pressure.

Along with the latest output stage technology, responsible for the impressive professional sound of the current models, are the 12" and 15" woofers, developed and produced by dBTechnologies themselves. An extremely light diaphragm material, generously dimensioned magnets, and oscillation coils with low gap size provide high efficiency and convert the available power perfectly into sound pressure.

Moulded by Sound.

Due to its optimal shape, the integral 90 x 60 tweeter with 1" fittings, achieves a clean sound distribution with broad, uniform radiation of the trebles. The low resonance multi-function casing made of extremely stable polypropy-lene, has a standard stand flange (35 mm �) with fixing screw. The beveled rear side also allows it to be used as a floor monitor. The system can safely be installed permanently or easily mounted using the optional wall bracket WB02.

Freedom to choose

The new OPERA MODULAR has a module slot on its control panel at the backside to capture optional modules such as Time Delay or wireless receivers. Even the brand new AFP anti-feedback suppressor is available as a problem solver, particularly for monitor applications.

3 different sound-setups

OPERA MODULAR offers three switchable sound presets forperfect variations to the application. The FLAT position, without correction, is used in live music situations. By using the MUSIC position, the very low and high frequencies will be increased, which is ideal for Dance- or background music appl. with a HIFI sound. VOICE will increase the speech clarity, to ensure the highest level of verbal intelligibility.
