Main Snake Trunk Configuration (FOH)

The main snake configuration is the overall setup of your snake. Most people are interested in Box to Fan snakes.

  • Box refers to a metal stage box that houses the connectors at which microphones and instruments are plugged into, usually at a stage.
  • Fan refers to the "whip" of individual channel cables that are usually plugged into a mixing console at the "Front of House" or other mix position.
  • Unterminated means the cable has no connectors, fan, or box. It is a simple blunt cut, requiring the customer to terminate the cable themselves.
